Kappy’s Fine Jewelry is a family owned and operating jewelry store. They began humbly in Brooklyn, New York and in 1947 founder, Simon Kapp, moved the store to South Beach, Miami. Simon’s son carried on the family tradition of taking good care of customers and offering high quality jewelry. This tradition continues today with Steve Kaye – Simon’s grandson – the 4th generation to offer professional services, expert jewelry creation, watch repair, and personal relationships with an emphasis on the most important person – YOU! With a personal touch that never pressures the customer, Kappy’s specializes in Bridal and Anniversary sets, including custom designs to satisfy every taste. Steve is a GIA-Certified Gemologist who tailors custom pieces to the customer’s design wishes, right before their very eyes. Having grown up on the knees of his father and grandfather, for whom personal service was paramount, Steve continues to provide quality and build real relationships with his clients, many of whom are repeat customers celebrating new milestones.

In addition to custom jewelry design and fabrication, Kappy’s carries a full line of gold (14kt, 18kt, etc.) and platinum jewelry, in all shapes and sizes of diamonds and beautifully colored gems, available in sizes ranging from 1/2ct to 10ct. Steve has years of experience at the bench performing repairs on rings, bracelets, and all brands of watches, including Rolex, Cartier, Movado, Tag Heuer.
Kappy’s also buys pre-owned (estate) pieces (jewelry, precious metals, gemstones, silver, and watches). Your valuable pieces can be appraised on-site, to ensure the most current values. Steve also provides insurance replacements for his customers.
